Absolutely brilliant, not the longest course but every hole had its own different challenge, be it a dog leg left or right, water, undulating fairway, two tiered green, or narrow gaps between trees to tee off through. Greens and fairways in superb order. I am 68, playing off 20 and I found this course a real challenge, you definitely have to think your way around it. He aware that the club house bar closes at 18.30, although there is a pub across the car park.

Fabulous day out

A great course, well maintained, with some very challenging holes.
A fair number of water hazards on the course, with a stream dissecting many of the back-9 holes.
Not sure about the availability of food, after your game. Did not see any evidence.
Well worth a day out and very cost effective, especially if you play with a member!

Played here today course layout is very good but the condition of some of the greens tee boxes still playing off winter mats took the shine off short game area is in awful condition whether they haven’t got investment or unfortunately just in the catchment zone of 10-15 courses in the area such a shame. Be a while before I return.

Really enjoyed the course although the green were sanded, they were like lightening,
Tees were very bare and could benefit being returfed. Thes did not affect an excellent afternoon whom I was joined by a club member, Gareth. Staff I met were very polite, definitely play again when I return to area.

Nice Course

Very nice course with very fast greens. Well worth the £20 green fee myself and my son paid after booking through GolfNow.Big shame that I couldn't play out of bunkers and practice areas were closed due to covid regulations but I would recommend the course to anybody.

Good course albeit it wet day all day , greens in good condition , course challenging in places & makes you think about where your putting your ball , first cut of rough was difficult to get clean contact out of so you really need to be on the fairway, more signage needed around the course indicating where next hole is , as got a bit confusing at times

Played late one Saturday afternoon after heavy rain and was only charged £15 because of preferred lies. Fairways and rough good although getting out of heavy wet rough was not easy. First 9 is not difficult with a lot of short par 4s, though you do need to be precise. Back 9 is stronger, liked the long par 5 11th. Didn't like the par 4 12th with too narrow a gap to find the green. Greens were variable, obviously slow after the rain, though I feel a good hollow tine, top dress and reseed would improve them.

Rough was too long and therefore difficult when the ball was only 1 meter off the fairway. The bunkers were too sandy as well. Otherwise the course was nice.

Played here before, but not in the same conditions. The greens where dry and could not stop the ball on them, but what course is not like this? The pace of play was very slow but that was only down to the Airbus lads! Over all the course was very good, and so was the meal, that was served up by a pleasant young lady.
