Love this course. Big hitters have to think before they belt the ball off the tee. A drive and a wedge isn't always the best option. For High HCps you still get a chance to put in a good score. You rarely go home wishing to sell your clubs. probably the friendliest club in Sx at present.

I'm very fond of this course and it's my favourite. It's a constant challenge and the scenery is beautiful too. Add to that great staff, great food and the friendly relaxed atmosphere and it offers everything I need. For me 9 holes is just right.

I am a lady member here, the golf course is well looked after by our excellent green keepers, summer and winter, the views are outstanding with a wealth of wild life, the clubhouse could not be more friendly especially for new lady members. Just learning as I did 5yrs ago with a coffee at the end of the lesson to get to know old and new members, we are always learning. The social side is also great with quizzes and various activities besides the all important golf, not always serious with at least one fun game a month, I highly recommend this club for the social and the golf which keeps us all fit and healthy.

played here last week, a fantastic scenic 9 hole course which feels like an 18 hole and a amazing friendly clubhouse. Will be back! Great value.

I have just started playing golf, and this is such a welcoming course! I have purchased my first half set of clubs from my professional, and ventured onto the course a couple of times. The course is in good condition considering it is wet and cold. It is quite hilly so my fitness is certainly improving! I look forward to Summer when I can really start enjoying my golf!

I have played here endless times for it's convenience. The course still has much to offer despite only being a 9 hole course. Certainly don't let this put you off! I normally only play 9 due to time, but currently have a best of 43 off a handicap of 23...really want to break the 40 mark!!

Having played a few rounds here with a friend, I must say I was suitably impressed. We met after work for their 'Twilight' Golf. £9 for unlimited golf makes it incredibly good value for money. The only downside of the venue, is they don't have food later on. We made do with some massive slices of cake and beer though, so not all bad. I will certainly return. (Last Round Aug 2015 - Score...Handicap 9)

I have been playing golf for about 15 years, and must say this is one of the friendliest clubs I have ever been to. The members and staff are a credit to a fantastic, family set up. The course certainly offers its challenges, and where it lacks in distance, it more then makes up in the short game (which as we all know is invaluable). Last played 27th September. Score: 81 Handicap: 14

This course is local to myself and a very pleasant course with varied holes.
the greens at the moment are very good but the rough is hard to find your ball......

Best nine hole I have played, going of two tee settings makes it feel as if you are playing eighteen holes. Most fairways were well grassed and the greens were exceptional . Facilities are excellent staff are friendly and the drink and food prices are really reasonable. Don't let it put you off being a nine hole it is a good test of golf for all handicaps.

I am a beginner to Golf. This course offers the all round fundimentals for learning the basics. It supplies endless challenges with the hilly terrain. Having started in September, we have had very little good weather. However the course is in suprisingly good condition.
