Coming along. Needs some TLC
The greens have been snaded and spiked and need a little mor time to bed in. Some bare patches on the tees and muddy spots on fairway. However in good condition and will be a fine course to play in summerReviewer Rating

Immaculate and fast greens
Course was in pretty good nick. A bit muddy on the fairways and plenty of tyre treads which doesn't help but shows the high level of maintenance. Greens were fast but at the same did not break anywhere as near as summer. Tees were good and evidence of work around bunkers with some being GUR.Reviewer Rating

Sandy greens but in great shape
Shame that greens already dressed. But still the putts were true if not slower that expected. Wish people would use the seed supplied to fill in their divots on the Par 3's. Oh and put their broken tees into the "bins" provided. Not much sand in the bunkers but if you hit the fairways then the ball worked as had.Definitely worth the moneyReviewer Rating

Little gem of a course!
Played the week before clock change and considering coming off winter and a load of wet weather the course was in great nick. Tee boxes and Greens were in great condition for time of year, and fairways were good which is a credit to grounds staff. We really liked the layout and flow of the course. Yes there’s a walk back at 14/15 but there really isn’t a weak hole and quite a few standouts. Particularly liked the run from 5 to 9. With 5 a fun short par 4 down hill where longer hitters can go for green), 6 a testing par 4, 7 and 9 both excellent par 3s and 8 a cracking par 5 which offers some risk/return if you can hit long enough. The course then gets harder for 10-13 before throwing in some very scoreable holes to finish. Although it was closed for off season the halfway hut is in a great spot, we’ll be back for a mid round hot dog and a drink next time! The course I believe is 100 years old this year and although there’s no fanfare the clubhouse was a delight inside with all the history on the walls and cosy seating in the bar. Shout out to the staff who were great from pro shop to club house. End of round Guinness after a wet finish was heaven! Will definitely be back on next visit to East Sussex.(Shot 77 off 3 handicap, partner 86 off 18)

Good local course
Not been here for some time and pleasantly surprised at price and condition considering the amount of frost and rain. Green in top condition but a bot slow but again that is due to rain. Didn't visit the bunkers but some had standing water. Tees were excellent and all in play.Reviewer Rating

Disapointing!
Only my second visit here but was very disappointed with the pace of play. Members just turning up and teeing off whenever they liked and on different holes! Quite a tight course and some tee boxes are very close to greens.Reviewer Rating

Haywards Heath revisited
Course in OK condition but in need of some attention particularly bunkers and fairways. Despite an awful back 9 I did enjoy the round which brought back memories of when I caddied there as a teenager 35 years ago.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 112 Handicap: 22.6)
