What The Club Says
Mid Sussex Golf Club was designed to high specifications by renowned course architect David Williams and former winner of the European Open, Andrew Murray, Mid Sussex Golf Club first opened its doors to the public in 1995.
The course is set in surprisingly mature parkland and features superbly contoured greens, interesting natural water hazards and a host of strategically placed bunkers.

Modern, well maintained course
This is one of the flatter courses in Sussex. Over the years, money has been invested in drainage and this year you can see that it has been beneficial. Although the prolonged draught has resulted in some cracking, it is far less severe than some that I have played recently. Greens are good. Some teeing areas are, unsurpringly, a bit worn. Great views of the downs. well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Hidden Gem In Sussex
I've passed this course on many occasions over the years on my travels to the Sussex area but never played it.It is a lovely layout and it was in very good condition given the recent heatwave and subsequent drought conditions, the fairways although brown has a good cushion off grass, which is in contrast to many a course at this time.

The only down side was the pace of play. With tee off times every 8 minutes as with most courses it does tend to clog up the course.A marshall going round in a buggy to get players to speed up would be helpful.

Still damp in places
Course and greens in good condition apart from a few damp patches. Much drier than expected after a considerable amount of rain recently.Reviewer Rating

Nice to be back.
Course looking good in the grey cold weather. Frost helps as not wet but you can see that it will be. Green quite hard but playing slow. A couple of divots from shots but not mine.Bunkers very playable and tee boxes in good shape. Overall not bad for this time of year.Reviewer Rating
