Mid Sussex

Flattish course but quite challenging. The greens are not all flat and provide a good test of putting. Challenging rough on most holes so need to keep straight. In good condition.

Testing good course

A lovely course and well maintained, which it should be for ?40 a round. Why has it got expensive to play golf again. ?40 for a mid week round at most golf clubs now is going back to the bad old days of golf when they priced people out of the game and wondered why they were loosing money.

Missed Opportunity

This course is always in reasonably good condition, I wouldn?t say it?s excellent but for me they don?t seem to have really done any work during the lockdown period so it?s no different to any other time which a lot of courses have chosen to adapt/repair etc and benefitted from that, Mid Sussex is popular and you have to wonder if that?s more to do with the decline in courses in the local area than the club itself.

Old Friends reunite

Pretty good course. Flat and wide open so should have played better... Weather was not kind to us but course in good condition although some tee boxes clearly had suffered from over use or disease. Clubhouse is good and food nice.

Great course, quite forgiving and very well maintained. Several challenging holes, quite a few water hazards and well placed bunkers.

Great flat course

As a relatively new golfer, finding a course that suits is much needed. Not to say this is for beginners only, with lots of OB and water hazards, picking your spots is required. Lots of par 5s with a great selection of par 3s also. In Sussex, there is plenty of course where you can get punished for playing a good shot. Here you play a good shot you have a chance of par.

Meadow and uninspiring

Needs water. Hard fairways and greens. Good bunkers but belong on a better course pace of play is slow Worth what they charge but no more and do not expect a fast round

Great course in a convenient location

The course is in great condition. You can see where the money has been spent here keeping it tip top. The course offers a number of different challenges with water coming into play and some very well positioned bunkers ready to catch out the unwary.
