Testing good course
A lovely course and well maintained, which it should be for ?40 a round. Why has it got expensive to play golf again. ?40 for a mid week round at most golf clubs now is going back to the bad old days of golf when they priced people out of the game and wondered why they were loosing money.Reviewer Rating

Great flat course
As a relatively new golfer, finding a course that suits is much needed. Not to say this is for beginners only, with lots of OB and water hazards, picking your spots is required. Lots of par 5s with a great selection of par 3s also. In Sussex, there is plenty of course where you can get punished for playing a good shot. Great course in a convenient location
The course is in great condition. You can see where the money has been spent here keeping it tip top. The course offers a number of different challenges with water coming into play and some very well positioned bunkers ready to catch out the unwary.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 23.2)

Having just stepped off the course again, in the sunshine (I thought it'd never appear) I can say that my impression has changed about the greens, the greens staff have had a chance to mow the grass a little tighter and they are rolling true and nicely paced.
Unfortunately for me the bunkers were back in play, though I only hit a couple of fairway bunkers which were in good condition, I couldn't comment on the greenside ones.
A nice test of golf and good surroundings, recommended for all levels (as long as you can play near to 28 at worst).

Never played before and found the course to be in excellent condition.Also found it very challenging.
The only down side was the pace of play.With tee off times every 8 minutes as with most courses it does tend to clog up the course.A marshall going round in a buggy to get players to speed up would be helpful.

In need of a cut but very nice otherwise
Course was looking lush. Tees were green, fairways were defined and greens looked good but a tad slow. Quite a lot of seed is starting to show. However on the fairway and in 1st cut of rough the ball sat up nicely and so some good contact was available.Reviewer Rating
