This is a wonderful course for players of all abilities with great rural views from the course and from the terrace of the clubhouse. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere wonderfully relaxed.

I cannot recommend this course highly enough. It has improved dramatically over the years and offers every grade of golfer a round to test you and enjoy if you good enough to avoid the strategic bunkers and ditches. The club house must have the best view in the south of England and you can get good food and drink to celebrate, or ease the pain of a bad round! There are no negatives to this place and you will get a friendly welcome when you visit.

Played quite a few rounds here, lovely views and great staff in the clubhouse. Course looks fairly strait forward, but the hills and slopes make it quite challenging. Probably the only course in Mid Sussex that's playable all through the winter. Golf equipment in shop is very good value as is the food.

A nine hole course - priced very reasonably accordingly - but with inventive tee positions to differentiate between front and back nines. Well maintained and with stunning views over the Sussex countryside.
Pleasant " Clubhouse" with good menu and an outside seating area to take advantage of the views.

This nine hole course is great for beginners or the more skilled golfers. Do not under estimate this course as it really has its challenges. It is well kept course from fairways to greens, it may only be nine holes but it is a long nine holes with its ups and downs. For those that wish you can hire a buggy which makes it easier going. The staff are great here and nothing is to much trouble, the club house is really nice and homely and great to use before or after your round. They also have a driving range but as of yet we have not used it.

Love this course. Big hitters have to think before they belt the ball off the tee. A drive and a wedge isn't always the best option. For High HCps you still get a chance to put in a good score. You rarely go home wishing to sell your clubs. probably the friendliest club in Sx at present.

Played here a few times this year and can really recommend it. Though not long the course can be difficult to score all in as the greens are pretty tricky. I've never found the course really busy as I tend to play after work and it is great value. Staff really friendly and a nice pint at the bar afterwards!

I'm very fond of this course and it's my favourite. It's a constant challenge and the scenery is beautiful too. Add to that great staff, great food and the friendly relaxed atmosphere and it offers everything I need. For me 9 holes is just right.

I am a lady member here, the golf course is well looked after by our excellent green keepers, summer and winter, the views are outstanding with a wealth of wild life, the clubhouse could not be more friendly especially for new lady members. Just learning as I did 5yrs ago with a coffee at the end of the lesson to get to know old and new members, we are always learning. The social side is also great with quizzes and various activities besides the all important golf, not always serious with at least one fun game a month, I highly recommend this club for the social and the golf which keeps us all fit and healthy.

Have played here a few times - great course, superb value for money, very friendly and a welcoming place for beginners. It's fairly short and the 18 tee/9 hole format means it can get quite crowded, with several games playing the same hole at busy times. However, the different tees present a different challenge for the front and back 9s and there's a number of very interesting holes (eg the dogleg 3rd over the trees). It's also set in stunning countryside! Clubhouse is small but very pleasant.

Nice little nine holer with inventive tee placements to make the second nine feel fresh. Some challenging and memorable downland holes with prettiness all around. The first, third and seventh particularly challenging and the par three eighth very lovely. Good modern clubhouse with a lounge and good snacks and food, perfectly good driving range and putting area. The staff are unfailingly friendly, and they run good lessons for beginners of all ages. A very nice club, especially if you re starting out.
