Conwy is an out & out Links course overlooking the the irish sea and across to Angelsey, this course was used as a qualifying course for the 2006 Open at Hoylake and therefore has plenty of pot bunkering not only protecting the greens but also along the fairways, if you end up in one just get out and accept your punishment. At 6647 of the whites you'll know you've had a round and if the wind is present (which is more often than not) club selection if vital if you want to survive a beating from this course.
No water for obvious reasons but plenty of OOB, Gorse and trees especially on the back 6 holes.
It can be punishing for a complete hacker but a very good test for all others.
Highly reccommended.
At £50 a round it's not cheap but once you've played it you will want to come back.

Awesome
Been wanting to play here for a good few years and finally took the chance. Weather wasn't great but that didn't detract from how much I enjoyed playing here and how good the course is. Typical links with bunkers very penal but also very good. Teeing areas were top drawer. Fairways were as you would expect in fantastic condition and the greens were just so pure?.tricky to read but a lovely pace.Lovely grass driving range, also a chipping area and ample sized putting green.
If you want to challenge yourself and play one of the best links courses you'll find at a decent price then Conwy is the place to go. I for one will definitely be returning.

Excellently maintained, beautiful course with fantastic views. Thoroughly enjoyed playing this course although still frustrated about not finding my shot off the 16th tee that role onto the 27th fairway ????Reviewer Rating

Class Club
From the welcome to the course, everything about this place is first rate. Being permitted to play from any tee allows you to play to your ability or depending on the strength of the wind, not too punishing a test. Nice chipping area and putting green true to the ones you'll find on the course. Can't wait to return.Reviewer Rating
