Course in good condition greens tricky not fast for time of year but ok very good location to play golf

Greens v good at Collingtree despite the time of year, not easy to make par's as very very windy conditions all in all a good course and would recommend agian.

Times are changing at Collingtree Park
There are changes coming to Collingtree with hope that ownership will switch to the members. This will hopefully see continued improvement in the course and facilities. The course is a great layout and the 18th always a challenging par 5 to an island green.Reviewer Rating

Course in good order though greens a little worn in places not an easy course if the rough is up but being kept at bay right now !

The layout of the course was very good. My only disappointment being the quality of the greens which in general were pretty poor. The layout of the course was challenging.

Good potential
Course had only recently re-opened after having been closed to flooding. Grass in semi-rough was too long & made finding your ball tough. The tee areas also had long grass so higher tees needed. Lunch was poor but dinner was a much better standard.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 106 Handicap: 23.1)

Avoid in the winter
It's a great course, but they shouldn't be open at this time of the year, it was basically a mud bath.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 17.1)

Course in general in good condition. However, the bunkers, particularly on the 1st and 2nd were a disgrace. No sand, weeds growing in them, rabbit holes in the faces of the bunkers

Just had a Euro Tour Competition finish this early afternoon so the course was in much better condition than normal but there were still weeds and clumps of grass growing in some of the bunkers (God knows what the players would have thought of it!) but at least they were all raked for a change. Greens were good, also much better than normally.
If only the course could be like this all the time.
