good course with some challenging driving with left ton right cross wind, tight fairways on back nine and more of a test.

Course waterlogged, no trolleys, but buggies on the pathways. Greens in poor condition but at least not temporary.

Recent weather may have contributed to the condition of the course. The fairways in my opinion were far to long and the tee boxes need a bit of work. Greens were a tiny it long but in good condition.

American style course layout. Some challenging holes notably the 4th, 5th and 9th on the front 9 an ddefenitely the 18th - which must be one of the best finishing holes in the UK, Course gets a lot of traffic and it showed a bit but the faiways and greens were good and the sand in the bunkers was good to play out of after a dry summer.

I picked this course from a website rating the top 100 golf courses in England. The course looks like it has lacked recent investment however it is still a good challenge

I would play again and enjoyed the course set up but dont feel any need to rush back. Would be an excellent course with some investment in green keeping and bunker condition

Nice bar on completion but food wasnt great, good driving range with prices from £1 pound but pro shop a little bare of equipment and clothing

Overall happy but would have loved to have played this course 10-15 years ago when I expect it was at its best

Extremely windy that changed direction making club selection tricky, semi-rough not cut and punitive. Slow round waiting on three-ball ahead.
