first hole on right hand approach water logged no warning no ground under repair
most tees in poor condition,most greens poor and bumpy
fairways in general ok,bunkers poor sand not raked

Course wasn't in the best of condition, but that's expected in March. A couple of holes were on temporary tees and they were pretty awful to tee off on. The greens were very slow and could've done with a cut and a roll. Not bad for £20 on a Sunday morning but not a course I'd recommend.

Currently undergoing some work, but the course is essentially up one way, then back down the other side. 8th is a nice hole, the rest are pretty forgettable. We tried the course again after not playing it for a while, but nothing much has changed. Still distinctly average at best. Let's put it this way, if I was paying for a 7 day membership I'd be asking for a hefty discount.

For a winter fee of £10 I suppose it's ok but they really do need to invest in a lawn mower and get the greens cut!! It was like putting in the rough!

Been playing here since 1973. Was great then. With all the changes has gone down ever since. Apparently in the 60s three holes were over a road. Anyone know where they managed to put in 3 new holes ?

A good test of golf at a good price. Fairways cut and continuing works creating better conditions. Greens need tlc but improvements are being made. Pro shop staff very helpful. Will return.

Almost a really good course.

Played in Sept 2021 and really enjoyed it apart from the bunkers. They are in a shocking state with weeds, grass and flowers growing in them. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition and some holes are a challenge, but the course is let down horribly by the bunkers. It staggers us that green keepers are happy to see them in the state they are in.

Decent value for money

Decent value for money, fairways are very good condition, however the greens and bunkers are shocking. Overall OK for the price but the badly maintained greens can wreck a score

Good round with friends haven't played this course for a long time and the tree's have got a lot bigger over the last few years so more of a test now.

Great course. Perfect for new players.

Great improvements to the drainage over the last few years. Not the most challenging course but perfect for the casual golder. No clubhouse facilities i.e bar restaurant any longer to have a beer and discuus your round which is a shame as the nearest pub is a good 800 yrds from the entrance of the car park.
