Cleckheaton Golf Club was designed by world renowned course architect Alistair MacKenzie. It's a challenging 18 hole par 70 parkland course that's 6155 yards long with delicious food available.

Course still in good nick for this time of year though leaves beginning to hamper the game and some of these could be collected up as were in piles around the course which was a bit poor. Overall a pleasant round and will play again maybe in summer. Good price as booked through tee of times.

course is not very long, 4 par fours at less than 300 yds means you can have a go at greens in one off the yellows. The course is well protected by the terrain and the fairly narrow fairways. i would highly recommend this golf course to everyone.

Quite a tough challenge, the Par 3 fifth is spectacular, elevated tee to a well protected green, Very Good Hole. When you play this be positive, as it will demand it. Great hospitality

Brilliant course played very well for time of year as was closed day before due to bad weather. Its a good challenging course for all abilities of golfers! Will look forward to playing this course in the summers months next year as you after play off winter mat on fairways and tees!

Raining and hailstoning today so course inevitably sticky. Greens a bit bumpy but some tricky holes makes it a good course. Food in the clubhouse very good.

Very interesting course with some spectacular holes off raised and lowered tees hitting down into valleys. Not for the faint hearted and pretty hilly. Enjoyed it very much.

Being a private club the fairways and greens were in good condition.
Not much to complain about on the course apart from the rough some too long and some cut short.
If you keep to the fairways a very challenging course has the feel of a links with the humps and bums on the fairways.
My favorite hole is the par 3 5th from a high tee to a sunken green which has the wind in contention and trees everywhere.
Overall a good little course but difficult for the errant driver.
