What the club says: Christchurch Golf Club has existed for over 30 years and was originally formed at the old Iford Bridge Course. The club has in excess of 200 members and moved across to Playgolf Bournemouth, formerly Iford Golf Centre, when it opened in 2001.

Scenic
Very scenic and easy to reach course with some punishing challenges if you hit poorly off the fairway. Tends to get heavy in winter and grass along the fairways could do with more regular cutting, although I realise the heavy ground may prevent this. Good, testing length and some water hazards (especially on the 9th) add to the challenge.Reviewer Rating

The course is fairly flat and easy for us old boys to get around. If you can hit straight the course should not pose a great problem. If you are offline beware the rough, you may not find your ball. The usual bit of water, trees and traps to keep you on you toes. I like it!

Green and fairways in good condition considering the lack of rain. Quite a slow round but it was on a Saturday morning and we did see the Marshall out on the course 4 times.
Take your credit card if you want food as very expensive, in fact take your own coffee too as it was probably one of the worse tasting coffees I have had.

Excellent back nine until the last! Lovely weather and range facilitates, with a super putting green out front.

quite wet in areas but the greens holding up well and no matts in use. Completely different course in the wind and today wind was against on most holes. Decent course for the price and good practice facilities but no real proshop to speak of.

Some challenging holes and some fairly straightforward ones. Course in good condition with smooth, fast greens. Beware stray balls from the range when playing the first! Overall worth a visit.

Good Pay & Play course. New owners are investing money with some improvements in the pipeline.
Can be very forgiving with wide fairways but also some testing holes.
