Only 2 minutes drive from the town the course has Lumley Castle and The Riverside cricket ground in the background. We managed to get a cheap deal of only £7.50 which was excellent as its the first time i have played on the course even though living only 3 miles away. The greens were very quick and you had to pitch the ball 40 yards short to get it to stop on the green

The course is in excellent condition. Greens had just been fertilsed and a little grainy. Hospitality in the clubhouse was excellent. If you are in the area you should give this course a go.

We played this course for the first time in tough conditions. It was challenging and tricky in various places a proper parklands links. Back 9 easier than the front 9 and it was a good day. Clubhouse was very good
