Course was not what I expected with some greens with patches where there is no grass and lots of fairways where the grass was not in good condition especialy considering this is not a cheap course to play at £46 mid week none members

No towels in the locker room was a massive let down.

Great course, tricking rough and narrow, but possibly some bouncy fairways which could be better. Greens generally good

Canterbury
Fairways damaged by recent hot weather- should be preferred lies generally at the moment. Weather was poor on my recent visit and the dye in the greens covering hands etc.. I have palyed it before and it is usually a good test.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 17.9)

Tricky course winding it's way around mature woodland for most of the holes though it does open out on some of the middle holes. Driving range available with a slippery putting green to scare you before starting your round. Nice mixture of Par 3's , 4's and 5's with an inviting clubhouse. Members appear friendly and staff warmly welcomed us at all times.
Green fees are expensive in Summer (£40 Weekdays and £55 Weekends) best time to go is between 1st November and 31st March where Weekdays and Weekends are a reasonable £20.

Course was in good condition considering the rain overnight. Assistant in pro shop very helpful

I played only once on a gale wind day. A lot of trees around and a nice variety of holes. Elevated tee shot, elevated green. Greens were really quick and a down hill putt often ended up in 3 putts. Not a course I would play often.

Challenging but fair
Lovely course, not overly long but short game in good shape required. As with most golf good driving needed but you will probably need to chip and pitch well.Reviewer Rating
