What the club says: The 18 Hole Golf Course was designed to challenge golfers of every standard. The course comprises four par 3’s, ten par 4’s and four par 5’s arranged in two loops of nine holes starting and finishing close to the clubhouse. The 9 Hole Academy Course is set in 25 acres of orchards. The 9 hole course varies from 76 to 187 yards long holes and offer a unique opportunity for ‘beginners’ to have a feel of what playing on the golf course is as well as a good test for more experienced golfers to sharpen their short game play.

Good solid course. Very slow round though (and this was with buggies banned due to weather). Long course with coke challenging distance!

The course is a decent challenge and value for money is excellent when playing at twilight. However, the bar/food area next to the first tee was a disappointment. The service was very slow - we waited for 15 minutes just to be served a drink. And worse, there was a DJ playing very loud dance music, which made conversation a struggle. This was at 7.30 when there were still many golfers out on the course and a steady trickle coming into the bar area.

Good challenge but VERY slow play.

This is a nicely set out course and the greens were of a very good quality. The major problem golfers will have here is the pace of play. Took us just over 5 hours... guests of the hotel hacking their way round. Nothing wrong with this BUT gonout early if you have anything else to do in the day. Also, breakfast and tea came to 24 quid so eat before you go.

Good course and well maintained. Tough in summer with LONG rough. Had a good time out there with two four balls.

Only issue I see here is if you are brand new like I was they don’t show course design on scorecard or tee so don’t know exactly how the hole plays out

The course was in great condition with some challenging holes very picturesque with some interesting shots in to the green. The course is fairly long and has some decent hills to climb it definitely makes you want to go back for another round
