five and half hours to get round
golf course was packed waited over 20 minutes on 9th tee box with 3 other groups over five and half hours to go round was a joke . when paying for buggy in pro shop golfer in front of me was wearing jeans and golf shoes just about sums the course up.they are building a hotel on site must spend money on course(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 107 Handicap: 26.8)

Haven't played this course in 10 years and to be won't be again within the next 10 years. Needs a lot of work to improve.

Played today sept 8 2023. It took over 4 and a half hrs for a 3 ball which is an absolute nonsense. Its way too long. Waiting on every shot and even over ten mins on 1 of the tees. It takes less than 3 and a half to play my course. Sadly most of the people we encountered were rude and ignorant and one of our group was almost hit twice with no shout or warning. Utterly unacceptableCourse was in decent condition with good greens. Without doubt i will not play there again. It seems to be all about money as everything is extortionatelyexpensive .

Golf Day
The practice green for the course has been moved and unfortunately it was a bit like putting on a short cut bit of fairway. The proper greens were only slightly better and were rough bumpy and in need of a cut. Despite this the course played very well though pace of play was slow with a 5 hour round.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 10.4)

Played here for the first time in 2 years. It became apparent after several holes that the scorecard hole details were not accurate. Eventually we discovered that they had reversed the hole order i.e. Last 9 holes were first now, so we ended up playing the course in the old order. Apparently this had started about 3 months earlier. There were no signs to indicate this, no mention was made, only about 3 holes actually had numbers on them, there are no hole details at the tees. Greens were not brilliant. Seems to be more focus on a new terrace and the building of houses at the site. On leaving we saw a small notice on the rear door about the change of hole order!

Good challenge but VERY slow play.
This is a nicely set out course and the greens were of a very good quality. The major problem golfers will have here is the pace of play. Took us just over 5 hours... guests of the hotel hacking their way round. Nothing wrong with this BUT gonout early if you have anything else to do in the day. Also, breakfast and tea came to 24 quid so eat before you go.Reviewer Rating
