Canon's court golf club is a lovely little course. With little land they have managed to fit in a couple of stunning little holes. This is tight course where some people (myself) would be better hitting a long iron off the tee rather being wayward with the driver. The greens on this course are in excellent condition. The only downside to this course is that in winter the rubber mats make the course very short.

£10 for 9 or 18 holes which for this course is a bargain,
Just a shame the club shuts at 3pm so missed out on a drink but I think it's
Ran by a couple of people who also do stuff out on the course so these things
Can't be helped.
Money into an honesty box is also very trust worthy of them

I have played this course a few times. I play two or three other course in the area and this has a different feel to the game. If you are used to blasting the ball for miles but can be erratic this course might punish you, as it is a little tighter than Woodlands and Thornbury GCs. Although this is a 9 hole course, the hole are nicely played out. The only disappointing hole is the second hole which is a very short par 3 but even that has character. The course is currently in excellent condition with very smooth greens. The only negative about the course is playing off rubber mats in the winter and early spring. These mats could be set slightly further back (especially on the 7th hole which turns a down hill par 4 into a par 3) as the course plays very short during this period.

Over all this is a good course with plenty of challenge for the more erratic golfer like me.

The course is the BEST I have ever played. The friends from work that came with me had been before pre 2012 but had since joined elsewhere. They said it had improved 110% since then. The play was challenging, a little tight but excellent and the best we have seen generally for a long time. £10 to play 18 holes is murderously cheap. A Definite to return.

I was a member here in 2000 - 2002 then I left and I hadn't played the course for several years during which time, under new management, the course has changed significantly. Although still a 9 hole short course, 2300 odd yards played twice, with 4 par 3's and one par 5, it can be testing course with oob on the right on most holes, a stream and 3 ponds. The new layout works well enough although they still haven't changed the score cards to reflect the new par 3, the 7th is now a 180yd par 3 downhill (1 in 10 approx) gaurded with a bunker left and right at the front. The greens are nearly always good, except the par 5 8th/17th which has a mixture of grasses in it, and with the new drainage and altered layout the fairways are much better in bad weather. Overall the course is flat/sloping with the steepest gradient being a short rise on the 6th. Can be played comfortably in 3 1/4 hours so if you're pushed for time but want to play 18 it's not a bad choice. Prices vary, When I played in Oct 2008 they had a 2for1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays - call to confirm this.
