For a cheap and cheerful course this is actually a very interesting track with some really good looking holes. In the summer the fairways are excellent and greens very decent. Just a shame about lack of signage, ball washers etc. Will get much better when two new holes are opened, one another par 5.

if i am to be totally honest the day we played calverly was very windy and with where the course is situated it is not a good place to be on a windy day
having said that course was in good condition for early april
i would like to revisit the club at some on better weather conditions and maybe my opinion will be different

For a £10 twilight fee this course is £3-£4 cheaper than local municipals and therefore superb value for money. The 17th and 18th are terrible - if the tee is quiet play 1 and 2 again instead! Otherwise a very decent and interesting course with some nice raised tees etc.

Very open, nicely kept course. Not very challenging for low handicaps but very enjoyable for higher I would argue (like me!). Decent walk around with a few hills to tackle. Very few obstacles so a single ball round should be a goal

For the time of the year the course was in very good condition, the clubhouse has recently been renovated and I must say that the builders have done a tremendous job. The club have also developed their spare land to now include a driving range, so you can know hit a few balls to loosen up before going out on the course

Played in a gale in middle of February. Most of the first half was on temporary greens, but pleased to be playing at all ! Nice but short course between Leeds and Bradford. Saturday round £13. Very reasonable £2.80 toasties in clubhouse and £1 coffee or tea

Decent course with plenty of challenges. Usual course was very busy so we had to play 1st 9 holes on this Hall course, which I preferred to The Calverley. Some water hazards to mix it up.

Booked to play a football - turned up 45 minutes before tee time - booked in and went to clubhouse for 4 coffee and bacon buggies - went to first tee to be told - hedgehog wheels or carry bags only - Why we're we not told when we booked (2 days prior, and no rain in between) or at least when be booked in
45 minute drive to get there and NO GOLF

Attitude of John in pro shop was disgusting (he was not the pro)
