played in a works day with 27 holes golf and soup & sandwich at lunch with 3 course evening meal at night. excellent value for money

Course was in great condition. Very quick greens, alot of work is being carried out to extend the course down the bottom end of the course and cant wait to try the 2 new holes when ready!

Excellent value
Course needs some Tlc in terms of cutting grass and getting bunkers sorted but for £12 for 18 holes you can’t argue. Club is friendly and beer is reasonably priced.Reviewer Rating

A good course with some issues
I've always enjoyed the layout to calverley. Some challenging holes and some on the easier side. The one par 5 on the course never failing to cause me problems. The fairways were in beautiful condition and the greens pretty good as well, if a little slow. The price was a little on the high side for me given a few of the holes were temp greens. Some not so good reviews on here and google. Other than 2 holes being closed I can't really fault it. Having said that, we were allowed to play 2 and 3 again to make up the 18. Some interesting holes and some difficult holes. The rough is quite rough but the fairways were great. The greens were 7/10 but still pretty decent. For £15 it's a no brainer.

Friendly Club
Great course, greens a bit iffy on some holes but a great course. Very friendly members & the people in the pro shop very helpful and friendly, unlike some other clubs!.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 18.9)

Very Enjoyable
Rabbits 4BBB stableford matchplay - course was lovely - grass a bit long in spots but the fairways and greens were very well defined. Greens were quick, company was great and the food and drink afterwards was spot on - will be looking at taking our online society there in the none-too-distant future if it's possible to accommodate us!(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 14.9)

A very good and interesting course. Yardage is measured to the front go the greens. Could do with colour coded flags or similar to give an indication of whether the flag on each hole was at the front, centre or back of the greens.

great track tight in places with some very tricky par 3`s uphill and blind course is in good condition and has some very good package deals at the moment..

Great course and in great condition. Played previously in winter and had bad drainage issues so was nice to have a good round this time.

For a cheap and cheerful course this is actually a very interesting track with some really good looking holes. In the summer the fairways are excellent and greens very decent. Just a shame about lack of signage, ball washers etc. Will get much better when two new holes are opened, one another par 5.

For a £10 twilight fee this course is £3-£4 cheaper than local municipals and therefore superb value for money. The 17th and 18th are terrible - if the tee is quiet play 1 and 2 again instead! Otherwise a very decent and interesting course with some nice raised tees etc.

Very open, nicely kept course. Not very challenging for low handicaps but very enjoyable for higher I would argue (like me!). Decent walk around with a few hills to tackle. Very few obstacles so a single ball round should be a goal
