Course is in superb condition. Greens are excellent. Bunkers well maintained. Some strategic placement on tee shots required on the par 5's. Highly recommended.

Some really long holes and even big hitters need a driver on km of the par K's with a little wind against. Good condition but basic etiquette appears missing from certain players. 1 flag left out and divots not replaced. Other than that it's a lovely course.

Played the course 26/04/14. Course in great condition and a pleasure to play there.Not the longest of holes but you have to be on top of your course management to work your way around. I play off 18 and scored a net 64.Will play there again.

Being the first people out on the course you expect to breeze around. After taking an hour and a half for the front nine we got stuck behind a vets competition that had been sent out on the tenth. As with most members they were never going to let us through and we ended up taking over four hours. It really isn't any wonder people don't want to join golf clubs! It's a shame as the whole set up is really rather good...

My partners and I play at Burstead 3 or 4 times a month through the whole year.It is by far the best condition course and clubhouse facilities in south essex.

Played for the first time today, have been looking to join a club for a while in Essex....Course played very well, club shop very approachable, membership options avaliable, what can i say apart from im joining this week and have t time booked for next weekend....will certainly be bringing guests to the cousre in future, one of the best cousres in the Essex area!

Truly one of the best courses in essex. Every hole is different and challenging. Requires thought and that makes it entertaining. Over lockdown they have done some fantastic work. Greens in great shape and look to be very fast over the hotter months. Very proud to be a member here

First time enjoyable experience

First time I've played the course and it was in burning heat. Some of the fairways are poor because of previous flooding and the heat but club have a plan to fix this winter. Greens in good shape and very friendly welcome. Enjoyable and would play again.
