The course is in great condition, the green keepers are doing some good work. Not the longest course but good course management is key. A chance to use every club in the bag. Staff are friendly and helpful. I don’t know any other members so some form of introduction would be good for general play.

Excellent course
Lockdown has helped this course re-emerge as one of the best courses around. A real thinkers course with some very tough challenges and no 2 holes the same.Only blemish is when joining in that new members not treated at all well - no introductions to others, no invites to existing groups / comps, no possibility of joining existing weekend swindles (all full apparently) and you’re just ignored with your only option to play rounds alone. Tried raising with the Pro and the committee - no one cared.

Awesome for time of year !!
Played on 2/1/21 and given the endless rain over the last few weeks and the time of year the course was superb. Virtually zero surface water from flooding, tees and fairways all in good shape and the greens were fantastic. Not much more needs to be said, great staff, great course, great value. They obviously know what they’re doing at the burstead !!!Reviewer Rating

First time enjoyable experience
First time I've played the course and it was in burning heat. Some of the fairways are poor because of previous flooding and the heat but club have a plan to fix this winter. Greens in good shape and very friendly welcome. Enjoyable and would play again.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 103 Handicap: 26.4)

Much improved track
Played Burstead recently and saw a huge improvement in the course layout and the quality of the fairways and greens. Really enjoyed the course and the friendliness of the staff throughout made it a most enjoyable golf club to play.Reviewer Rating

Nice set up
Ever improving club, lot of work on the 9th & 18th holes to make it more interesting and challenging. A really nice, friendly club with all the facilities, ie practice hole, driving range, nets and putting green. Deals to be had on the green fees. Some of the tee areas could do with a tidy up but otherwise a super little club.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 21.8)
