(Round played: Mar 2016 - Score: 92 Handicap: 14.6)course built on sandstone so drains really well. This course is open when all others are water logged and closed. Shortish but tight, it's like a links in places, a must try course, greens are always very good.

Played a double round. Love the small touches on the course.. water tap half way round be good refill.. lol

Golf course in excellent condition, although several of the bunkers had not been raked?
Clubhouse ok, although after ordering a ham sandwich it took 45 minutes for it to come.

i travel from derby every week to play bullwell forest with friends who are members there, very dry well draining course,well looked after, very cheap round, summer greens all year round, brilliant.

Wasnt expecting great things from this game but the weather made it possibly my best game of golf yet. Would recommend this course to anyone good value for money

renowned for being a good test for all abilities, my dad and i played last saturday for £10 each after 1 oclock, i presume this was twilight rate. Course in fantastic condition, and has stood up very well to the amount of rain we've had recently. Greens, as usually noted were superb especially for the time of year.
One of the problems faced at times is trouble with balls being stolen on the course but had no trouble this time and would highly recommend the course for players of all abilities. The clubhouse we visited after the round was clean and well-kept with good food and good value.

Excellent course really enjoyed playing it. Course in great condition and offers a tough but fair challenge for all handicaps. Great value too.
