Had a nice day out, the only thing I would suggest is to improve the signage for each hole as it wasn't clear which tee was the right one on a few occasions. We did use the card but some signs would make it a lot easier.

Good course for the bargain price
good course for the price you can't go wrong with an evening round. Took a three ball 3 hours 20 mins(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 96 Handicap: 25)

Good Course! Forces Thinking
Live local to the area so was looking forward to trying, glad to say i was NOT disappointed, great course, well maintained, a really good challenge and a great course for beginners.Early on you are playing alongside the road, along with the many public footpaths it forces you into playing positional shots rather than just wanging them down the fairway, thinking about where you need to play is a great part of this course and introduces beginners to a new aspect of the game.
The course was rather hilly but not unbearable, playing up to greens was a first for me and threw in a new situation for me (i have always played to a visable green).
The course is quite open but almost all of the fairways are tree lined but are not imposing to play, acold day but my greatest round ever so well happy ????????

A Winter go to Course
A go to course when those all around are ankle deep in mud and frequently closed. Short in length but offering an interesting challenge. Greens were excellent yesterday.Reviewer Rating

Considering it is winter the course is in excellent condition, sunday lunch a must.

Bulwell forest
Excellent golf course, one of the driest around on wet days, greens are fantastic. Summer greens and tees all year round.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 15.6)

Being a complete novice of only 6 months this course was ideally suited to me for helping to improve my exposure to 'tactile' golf. A driving range can do only so much.
The greens were in excellent condition and overall the drainage on the entire site is superb.
For a beginner with a terrible slice, the proximity to the road on tees 1, 4 and 8 were a little unnerving and the safety netting in place is a little sporadic. Also watch out for the long row of housing lining the entire length of hole 15.
The only real concern was the visibility of some flags from the tees, especially a couple of uphill holes. Thankfully, this small inconvenience is offset by a very informative scorecard with a great plan of the the entire course.

A must to play
