Good Course! Forces Thinking
Live local to the area so was looking forward to trying, glad to say i was NOT disappointed, great course, well maintained, a really good challenge and a great course for beginners.Early on you are playing alongside the road, along with the many public footpaths it forces you into playing positional shots rather than just wanging them down the fairway, thinking about where you need to play is a great part of this course and introduces beginners to a new aspect of the game.
The course was rather hilly but not unbearable, playing up to greens was a first for me and threw in a new situation for me (i have always played to a visable green).
The course is quite open but almost all of the fairways are tree lined but are not imposing to play, acold day but my greatest round ever so well happy ????????
