Lovely course!

Really beautiful looking course with sloping fairways but don't play in rush - there were too many slow players when I went round and no invitations to play through unfortunately.

Got a twilight round for £20. Exelaent value. Course in good condition. Couple of bunkers a bit light on sand mostly because they had not been raked properly. 'Clubhouse' was a 'halfway house' between 9th and 10th. OK in summer but don't know what happens in winter.

Played on a society day and overall was nice.Greens were the thing that let it down.Although not wobbly, the grass was quite long and they were very slow.Bunkers were very hit and miss also with builders sand in one then child's play pit sand in the next!

A good golf course all round, facilities good, lots of friendly people in the pro shop and cafe. Only gripe is a strange system of booking tees every 8 minutes then delaying your tee off until the group in front has cleared first green.
If busy you could be severely delayed by this. Still had a good game but would check if times are running on time before you pay just incase you have to wait. Course Marshal didn't seem to have control of groups that were upset by this and was a bit rude at times, even the members were upset. Didn't spoil my game though!

I've looked forward to playing here for years and today finally got the chance. On first impressions the WOW factor is definitely there. The big stately home certainly makes an impression and the welcome in the pro shop from the Golf pro and course Marshall was very welcoming. Whilst being shown around by the Marshall he explained about the course and introduced us to the halfway house. This I thought was a very nice touch. The course itself was pretty decent. I enjoyed the front nine considerably more than the back nine. Although the closing hole a nice length par 5 is among one of the finest I've played anywhere, purely for the shot into the green.
Tee boxes were nice and flat, fairways pretty good and the greens run very true, although I spent a lot of time repairing pitch marks on them from other golfers. Also the bunkers although I only went in one were full of decent sand and were strategically placed. All to often you play courses with pointless ones, not in this case.
If you aren't very fit or don't like hills hire a buggy, I'm aching like hell now, but hey it's all to keep fit isn't it.
The round cost £20 on Tee Off Times which in my opinion is an absolute steal. Well worth the money.

Parkland course with a mixture of uphill and down hill holes in and around beautiful Kent countryside. Particularly lovely back drop of the old manor house when you play into the 18th hole. Well worth a round if you can find a tee time on one of the discount tee time sites, otherwise play after midday, green fees are half price.

For Broome Park this time of year i was suprised in how good the greens were smooth faster than any other time i have been there and cut short a pleasure to put on fairways in good condition other than the rook and bird damage. They still need to do work on there tee boxs but we cant have everything and they still need a better drinks and food plaice.

Visit this course once a year. Hilly parkland course. Much rje same as last year. Fairways in good condition. Greens a bit fluffy and slow. Bit thin on sand in the bunkers.

Challenging course in places. Decent condition, although some tee boxes lumpy and not great. Greens ran true if a little slow but a thoroughly enjoyable round.

April

First time at this course. Firstly it's a good workout especially the front nine as it's a hilly 9. Course is in good shape for April considering the rain of late. Greens are very true. Fairways are pretty wide . Back 9 a little easier on the legs. Halfway house is very welcoming right opposite the Hotel / Mansion House. 8 Bay Driving Range with no Trace facilities but still OK. Putting Green practice area right outside the Mansion/Hotel, great setting. Really enjoyed my visit but usual room for improvement.
