Worth a visit

Always enjoyed playing this course. It has a contrasting 2 sets of 9 holes. The front 9 are tree lined and force you to keep the ball straight off the tee. The back 9 opens up and allows you to open your shoulders a bit. The 18th is a great par 5 with your 3rd shot over a pond with the Manor House in the background. The greens are in good condition. The fairways are firming up because of lack of rain but are still playing well. ?20 for a twighlight round is great value for money

Got a twilight round for £20. Exelaent value. Course in good condition. Couple of bunkers a bit light on sand mostly because they had not been raked properly. 'Clubhouse' was a 'halfway house' between 9th and 10th. OK in summer but don't know what happens in winter.

Played on a society day and overall was nice.Greens were the thing that let it down.Although not wobbly, the grass was quite long and they were very slow.Bunkers were very hit and miss also with builders sand in one then child's play pit sand in the next!
