The course is a very good 9-hole course with 2 pin positions for every hole. The actual course is in fantastic condition nice open fairways with stragically placed bunkers make it a real test with some water to which shouldnt come in to play but somehow does!!

Fairly short course protected by some narrow fairways and a lot of water. Course is well laid out and uses it's features to it's advantage. Unfortunately on my visit the greens were in poor condition which made putting a lottery and the driving range advertised on the website was non-existent.

A very pleasant course made more interesting by the narrow fairways and an abundance of water. Slightly letdown by the poor greens and the non existent driving range.

A nice course, plenty of water hazards, greens very good, but gets a bit boggy in winter.

An 18 hole course which was created in 1993, the back nine are the original holes which belonged to the Bank house hotel, this was added to and opened with a club house in 1993. The front nine is the longer of the two sides, eight of the holes being seperated by a road with an underpass for access.
Electric carts are available and there is a club house with licenced bar serving meals. (check opening times)The main feature of the course is its water. there are a large number ponds/lakes/polls, call them what you will, most of which make recovery of the ball difficult. Play straight and the course is simple, anything else and with the number of hazzards on the course, you will find trouble.Long hitting isnt essential, if fact on several to hit long can cause further difficulties with very well placed bunkers around most of the greens. The rough is well maintained in order to keep the round moving along, if you lose a ball its likely that it has gone for a swim so drop another and carry on. This will help if you are considering a summer round as societies tend to use the couse and hotel so the course can get busy from 100;00hrs onwards, with rounds after lunch also common. The changing rooms are a good size but the showers and wash rooms are a bit dissapointing considering a hotel runs it.

Great course with lots of lakes, you need to keep straight and lay up sensibly depending on the holes. Greens so fast and true but members who had been out before us need to repair their pitch marks, I repaired marks on all 18 holes. Fairways although ok could have been a little shorter, first cut was quite long and with constant rain during the round, it was difficult spotting your ball easily and often tricky playing out of. Some of the bunkers had not been raked and this led to some problems getting out of them. That said it is a great course and will always play it. Clubhouse very friendly and produced one of the best b breakfasts we have had.
