Course was in pretty good condition considering recent weather and time of year. All greens were open which was a bonus - I was told the course is only fully open until March 31st so if you fancy a Spring knock you better hurry up.

Greens are very good and fairways kept clear of cuttings.
Some tricky holes but a worthwhile course to play

I have never played a course with mushrooms growing on the greens, people walking their dogs across the course (also dogs doing you know what..) and not a single rake in a bunker all the way round!! Par 68, 6 par 3's 10 par 4's and 2 par 5's. Very mundane course where you can miss a fairway by 50 yards and still have a shot!!(not me I hasten to add). The staff were though very friendly as were the members we played against. All in all I would not recommend playing here and look elsewhere.....Reviewer Rating

Nice course fairways and greens well tended. Very busy quite slow. The direction markers were very poor but would play the course again

I play here quite a lot and I find it's always kept in really good condition for a municipal. It's cheap too (?10 weekday / ?15 weekend) and you rarely need to book so really convenient if you get a nice afternoon and want a spur of the moment round. It's not particularly challenging, I score better round here then elsewhere. Course is flat and you're rarely faced with an undulating lie. As for negatives, the bunkers need attention, there are no rakes in them so you can take pot luck on the lie if you find yourself in one. I think they've added more sand to them recently though so that's one thing.

i play this course every other week, maybe twice a week. for a council course its great. well drained in the winter and rainy weather. the green are always in good condition, sand is always racked and they look after the tee boxes as best as possible. good value for money and they always offer you good deals like two for one or christmas prices which is running now £10 for 18 holes.

Using stocks as the sflag sticks. When we complained they said people steell them. Will only play this course if nothing better is available. Not even that cheap.
