Brancepeth is a fine parklane club with an excellent course and has many interesting par 3’s making this a stern test

A very challenging course with v good holes crossing the ravine numerous times. The 2 par 3 holes, 9 and 10, are unbelievable! 18th is a brutal hole to finish

As member the club has taken big steps in recent years, the course condition has improved vastly. The pro shop has been completely renovated.

A really good course with stunning signature holes over a ravine which are a real test for golfers of most levels.

Greens have improved massively over the season and course is in fantastic condition although the rough can suck your ball in never to be seen again and ruin a good round.

Downside is the pro shop which comes straight out of the 1970's.

A very enjoyable course. Most of the holes present a challenge of one kind or another. The most notable feature of the course is it's long par 3's. The club itself is a bit of a step back in time. It's got an extensive club house complex, which is nice enough but like some other parts of the club could do with some freshening up.

Lovely layout, good bar, nice pro shop

First time for me on this course, on a damp September afternoon. The fairways were lush, greens nicely kept but having been hallotined and add the dew, they were running particularly slow, which is a pity. Still managed a 77 which is good round for me. The course is really interesting and has three bridges across ravines which always makes for an interesting journey. Some hard holes but quite a lot of reachable holes, even the par fives. I really enjoyed the whole experience. The pro shop guys were really chatty and knocked a bit off for the greens maintenance and looked after us for clothing and drinks. We eat in the clubhouse and enjoyed the food there. I would definitely come back in better weather as I imagine in summer this is a belter and you would get much more run out on the fairways which would change scores a lot and greens would be harder to stay on i imagine.

First time playing at this course but won't be my last. Absolutely amazing course in great surroundings. Tee shots near the castle are amazing. Great layout. Very clean. Fairways were in great condition. Club house was lovely. Nice pint and nice food. Greens were in the middle of repair so not the greatest of days play but was reflected in the lowered price.

Challenging

We arrived on an extremely wet day and the staff were excellent, accommodating us and allowing us to play on the course when they could have remained closed. Excellent customer service throughout. Lovely course, beautiful scenery.
