Very dry, with hard close fairways. Greens hard to stop need to play up short to stop on most greens. Front nine has some great views and interesting holes, back shorter not so challenging but a brilliant closing hole with a blind drive and second over water to well protected green 5 here is good. Very Enjoyable apart from the large group of ladies who were rather slow which forced me to take a break in the bar while letting them play on in front before starting back 9. Beware of large groups as this is a hotel with packages for clubs, societies etc.

Played front nine only, very good nick with lush fairways, very presentable greens. There was not a bare patch of earth to be seen so able to play all ways interesting holes with water at the ninth, not really in play. Good all round value, didnt stop for a pint/ sandwich played of an evening

Good Test for all handicaps.
Greens had just been treated but the course was in reasonable condition.

course is fairly forgiven even if land in rough still able to make birdies and pars with ease, few greens hard to read however, there are few holes from 8 to 12 are classed as card wreckers and can see why 8th hard and long hole in the wind all time driver and 5/3 wood for middle hitters, i hit driver and 2iron and was 10yrds short of a green, 9 is par 5 wind with only need 3wood off tee with water in front of green its very hard to in 2 but can get close so little dink up to green will do good for a dead cert 5
10 long par 4 back in wind surrounded by bunkers by green which are pretty deep 1 or 2 extra clubs required to make a green uphill

Went for a weekend break playing golf sat and sun. Course in great condition with some interesting holes. Weekend let down by the facilities. Flat beer, tiny food portions at very expensive prices.

Played a free round here through golf insurance I bought but split the greenfee with my mate not a bad course it's got a bit of everything ( up down left right ) greens were good not sure I'd go here to many times but worth a look if you feeling flush overall 7/10

A course which needs to be played a few times, to learn the green and pins. Espically as a couple of the hole have blind 2 shots into the greens.

Last time on this course. Challenging first nine holes. Vary sad to see it sat there now totally overgrown awaiting housing development for all of the local "homeless", very sad loss.

tee off at 07.00 first off was going great no one in front until got to 10th why do clubs let people tee on the 10th when there was no one on 1st, course was playing well greens fast,

A good challenging course. I really enjoy the 3rd hole and 8th - long par 4, front 9 much more enjoyable than back 9 nine.
