Last time on this course. Challenging first nine holes. Vary sad to see it sat there now totally overgrown awaiting housing development for all of the local "homeless", very sad loss.

This was not a good game form me. My playing partner didn't turn up, so I played on my own. I don't know the course well, as I've only played it once before. So I was looking up all the time looking to see where my ball was going. Ended up loosing 5 balls. Ahrggg! Nice course though. Some funky holes. Pretty good condition. It's a shame this course is going soon!

what a shame this course is closing and being sold for housing another green belt for the developers and idillic setting to be lost so glad i played but looks like all the green keepers have already gone no first cut and rough very rough have played before and it was tremendous as said such a shame

Nice course, but will be closed soon due to housing developers bought the hotel and golf course. As they have no members the course is very quiet. Greens are ok but very fast and hard, possibly due to lack of maintenence. I like playing this course if not to shoot my best ever score!!

tee off at 07.00 first off was going great no one in front until got to 10th why do clubs let people tee on the 10th when there was no one on 1st, course was playing well greens fast,

A good challenging course. I really enjoy the 3rd hole and 8th - long par 4, front 9 much more enjoyable than back 9 nine.

Pity that MacDonald have sold out and there will be houses on this course this time next year.A real shame as this course is one off the best around, pure putting surfaces and wide open fairways that lets a man play golf, I will miss her. Special mention to Natalie who always managed to get the tee times I wanted and to the people behind the scene's who may be out off a job. Shame on you.

Really good and quite challenging course, the course played well drying out nicely following the winter rain. No temp tees and greens running true and at a Med-Good pace.
Shame it will be redeveloped later in the year well worth a go whilst you still can.

Played during a week and had a buggy for a bit of a treat. Phoning the club is a nightmare so I always email. I was given my time and buggy no problem. The course is a delight to play with the longer hitters catered for, but those off a shorter distance still in with a shout, particularly on the back nine, with the delightful 18th finishing off. Its greens were fast and true with rarely a bump.
To finish off the day I had a breakfast which was hot, tasty and prompt, a winning combination.

The course was in great condition. The Pro was very helpful but we received a poor welcome in the clubhouse. Food was overpriced and portions small.

Stayed in the hotel. Lovely place. Nice golf course, good bit of variety through both 9's.. Well kept.. Bunkers in poor condition but just after a very bad spell of weather..
