Great Course, very challenging, fully enjoyed it. Conditions were tough, it had rained a fair bit the few days before and was quite frosty to begin with, great links course though with some great scenic views.

clueless putting
good course greens like glass for me but my playing partner (member) shown me how to play the course if your knowledgeable about the greens its a great course if not it makes you look foolish(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 91 Handicap: 11.2)

Best course have played in a long time greens were unbelievable and extremely fast which caught me out at a stimp of 11 so I was informed playing again 6th July so hoping for better round

Pleasant surprise
Due to bad weather the course we were due to play was closed. After a quick ring round we were lucky to be offered a tee time as visitors early Sunday morning. Great course. The views were stunning with a nice mix of holes. Be prepared for a long walk up & down hills.Reviewer Rating

Difficult Course

Fantastic Views
A challenging course which we have played a couple of times before. Course was in good condition and there are some stunning holes with background surrounding countryside. Best played in calm conditions unless you are an extreme golfer but the back 9 whilst hilly, are well worth the extra effort.Reviewer Rating

New course
Bolton old links has just been added to playmoregolf and it is a great addition!cery good golf course excellent greens and lovely course and well kept. Very good value for points so will defintely be coming back(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 81 Handicap: 5.9)

A little gem
We played on a cloudy day with high humidity and outbreaks of strong sun. Would recommend a buggy for the older players. What a beautiful course it is. Great fairways and fantastic greens. Challenging greens too with a fast and true roll. Everyone we spoke to was cery welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 19.6)
