Will not be rushing back.
I once thought this course was ok .But now they have taken part of it away so builders can put up houses . This has taken all the apeal from the course.

coarse seems to have gone back since I last played there very little signs of ground staff working tees uncut fairways uncut and very slow greens. a great shame as this was a very good coarse in the past

Nice enough course
A nice course, but pity it is situated on the outskirts of Blyth - not the nicest of towns in Northumberland ! The day I played, the fairways were as good as I have seen them, but often they are very bare, sometimes with bits of coal showing, as very thin top soil ! Clubhouse welcoming, with an average choice of food.Reviewer Rating

Decent
The course was in good conversation condition, greens played well and fairways well looked after. The course lacks the challenge of some in the local area but was a decent round. The rough is playable, the trees are well placed lining most fairways. Nice round for a budget course; personally prefer tynemouth (generally cheaper) and Arcot Hall (same price point, better course layout).Reviewer Rating

Pleasant course with friendly staff. Good variation of holes, with well protected greens. Wayward tee shots will be punished hard. There are lots of bunkers, so you may well get plenty of bunker practise. Been twice this week, and both times the course was quite busy.

Blyth is a pleasant parkland course with a good mixture of holes - doglegs to the left and right and 2 par 3's over water. The first 6 holes provide a stern opening and if you can play to your handicap on these holes you are set up for a decent score on the more picturesque back nine. Everyone is friendly on and around the course, especially the staff in the modern bar which overlooks the 1st tee.

pristine course with some very challenging holes. fast greens and excellent bunkers. if only there weren't so many people on the course.
