I've played there twice and been to the club house 4/5 times. Unfortunately whilst the course is well maintained and the general staff are all good people. One senior partner was particularly rude on two occasions.
I would not go to the club again, I don't want to hear an owner slag off members of there own staff, get into arguments or shout at us whilst walking to the tee.

Poor greens for time of year
The greens are very slow despite the fact they look very good, yellow tees are very forward so course not playing very long at all(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 77 Handicap: 8.2)

Quite expensive considering the bunkers have not seen a rake for a week. Had no idea what hole I was playing due to lack of tee markers and the paths are a health and saftey hazzard, Despite these things that make a course great, its actually a good challenging and rewarding golf course lay out....It's a course I would play again but on close inspection, it is very shabby and wild in alot of places.

Overall we had a good day at Blundells Hill. The course was in above average condition albeit very boggy in parts.The tee boxes and greens were very well maintained.The course is challenging without being too difficult for the high handicappers off the yellow tees.
Clubhouse is very pleasant with friendly staff. Our evening meal was typical golf club standard,adequate but nothing exceptional.In fairness they were probably working to a very tight budget.
Don't bother hiring a buggy at £25 because they absolutely insist that you must stay on the ridiculously positioned buggy paths. If a ball is on the far side of the fairway it is a complete waste of time especially as the buggy paths are a long way from the fairway anyway. And don't try and ignore the buggy path rules because you will be warned in no uncertain terms by a marshall who has all the social skills of a rabid Rottweiller!! IF A BUGGY IS ESSENTIAL TO YOUR ENJOYMENT THEN GIVE BLUNDELL HILLS A MISS.
