Solid test of golf

Beverley is well worth a visit. Friendly clubhouse and the course is testing with a range of different holes. Doglegs, tee shots over trees, testing par 3s of which there are five. The only downside is the course is on common land and dog walkers can sometimes drift onto the fairways. All the greens are protected by wire fences and care must be taken when climbing over, we will play the course again.

Tough Course.

A very tough course for the average golfer purely down to the rough. Once you're in, you're in- so if you're a player who can play every single shot down the middle you might put a score in, however if you're not in the 3% who can do that, this course is extremely challenging!
Also make sure you're fitness is half decent as its a very hilly course with some longish walks to the next hole.
Overall a good course, well set out and taken care of, but yeah- very challenging for the average player.

Unusual course set in heathland with each green ringed to stop cows who have access to all the Heath tramping on the greens. Interestingly, they rarely graze on the fairways as its too short. Some very tricky holes but course in great condition.

A little gem, plays harder than the score card suggests! Greens run true, fairways quite tight, however miss them at your peril this year! Par 3's protect the course and could easily mess up any scorecard, a course that requires you to be hitting your irons well. Play sensible and you can score, take the course on and you might break the course record, or your ball budget for the year.

Certainly different to the fully manufactured American identikit courses we see so often. My partner failed to read the local rules until he found himself plugged into what the club calls "dung". You share the course with cows. He was thankful "just"to lift his ball without penalty, the look on his face thinking he had to play it as it lay was brilliant. would definitely play again when near. Pro a great help very welcoming. played Nov 2013

The open nature of the course makes it easy off the tee. Definitely worth a round with a good selection of holes.
