I recently played at this golf course, and I was thoroughly impressed. The entire course was in fantastic condition, and the practice facilities were exceptional. The course itself was both beautiful and challenging, making it the best course in the local area. I was also impressed with the overall upkeep of the course and the excellent facilities. It was a truly picturesque course, and provided a good test of my golf.

Stunningly Beautiful Course

Probably the most attractive golf course i have played on, reminded me of Augusta in the way the whole course is so carefully manicured. Greens were tough but in very good condition. Could not fault the course as it rewards good shots and remains honest with few blind drives. If you get a chance to play it i would urge you to take that chance, you wont be disappointed.

An incredible all-round experience

If you want a mix of amazing service, a stunning clubhouse looking over the incredible grounds that Bearwood possesses, and a wonderful golf course, this this the place.
The greens are lightning fast and seriously pure, and the fairways watered and better than some greens I've played on. There was plenty that peaked my interest too, with the fifth, seventh, nineth, tenth, and thirteenth holes in particular impressing me with the way they make you think and execute shots. Water is everywhere so it's not for the feint of heart, but if you play in the evening there are some incredible views over the water and from elevated tees.

The practice facility is state of the art, and service impeccable.

Beautiful course

PLayed a dozen times. shame there was so much sand on the greens (which slowed them a bit as they are so normally lighning fast). Always an incredible round to play on such a luxury course. Everything is just faultless. The staff are so nice, the half way house ladies and the memebers always smile. Roll on the next game. Shame I played to lousy.

Perfection

My first review of any golf course on here but I couldn't pass the opportunity to comment on Bearwood Lakes. I have only been playing golf for 2 years and this along with the Sunningdale Old Course are easily the two courses that stand out by a long way. The fairways are perfection, the greens are true but fast, the course layout is super challenging but rewarding of any good shots and most importantly the people are super friendly.

My favourite holes were:

Par 5 5th hole which has some bunkers to avoid from the tee before a reachable green surrounded by bunkers at the front and water at the back

Par 4 7th hole (stroke index 1) which needs a perfectly placed tee shot to have a shot at a green 15-20 yards above the fairway

Par 3 9th hole over water which is just a stunning view (I somehow managed to birdie this)

Par 4 13th a dog-leg left to right with a ridge in the middle which you should clear with a solid drive leaving a simple wedge into the green surrounded by the lake

Par 4 18th a lovely ending with any drive pulled left punished by thick rough, the bunkers surrounding the green are deep too!

I have been luckily to play a lot of courses in the Surrey/Berkshire area but the complete package of great course, friendliness and satisfaction makes this my favourite so far!

Always a pleasure

Such a beautiful course. Even though the fairways have been heavily worked on/maintained mid August - still a gorgeous course. Love my biannual trip there!
Practice facilities are second to none and i play courses all over the country!
What a club house for afterwards
