Worth a try
We enjoyed a round at Allerton Manor this weekend and overall would certainly recommend it to others. The other players on the course were very hospitable. The first group we met was a three ball on the first tee that let us tee off first as we were a two. The ladies four ball we were behind played at a decent pace throughout and let us play through at the first realistic opportunity.It was a shame we weren't informed in advance that so much of the course was on winter greens and this made club choice very hard. The mats used were of very good quality.
Would love to come back and play the 16th properly as the green complex is as good as anything you would see anywhere with a superb choice of trees framing the view and a perfect backdrop.
