Always try for one or two rounds at Abersoch during the summer, course is in good shape and on the day we played, very challenging in the wind. Clubhouse once again great after round food and drink service.

Very friendly club, nice coarse, good beer. Recently had a society weekend in the area & found Abersoch to be the friendliest club i've ever played at a personal touch goes a long way. The captain and president both made sure we were happy & club pro Alan Jones is a true credit to golf. Its also a very good golf coarse. Highly recommended

disappointed. course feels rather 'squashed in' and wefelt under threat from golfers shots that seem come at you from different tees/holes. The holiday makers on the road bisecting the course also makes for a bit of a distraction

A course of two halves - front nine runs parallel with the cost and is links-ish with plenty of tussocky hillocks, marram grass and gorse - I lost a lot of balls! the back nine is more like a parkland course and has longer sloping fairways. Was expensive to play - given that a lot of clubs are doing great deals at the moment for visiting players, this felt like an uncompetitive price. Greens were a bit bobbly.

The holes down by the sand dunes are very testing but sculpted with beautiful natural contours. Short but with plenty of bite...

Played last week. Course in excellent nick. Greens noticably slower than usual for abersoch and could not quite get around that. Struggled with the old putter all day, but thats nothing new and i dont blame the greens for my lack of prowess with the damn thing! I still say they could have been slightly slicker.

Everything else was absolutely fine. Tough driving course, perhaps the toughest in gwynnedd. Without accuracy in your game your well and trully betty swollocked! Length not as much of an issue as accuracy, anyway thats what the lady golfer in the practice net told me but that's another story!!

NIce club with a warm welcome and a fine pint of ale to drown my putting blues. Well worth a visit to this challenging links.

pack your bucket and spade, your swimming trunks and your clubs and head off to abersoch. The course in all its majesty really is a magnificent site.A challenging links on the first twelve holes, with the usual blind drives et al but you then move onto the 13th where the course changes into parkland, open fairways and pins fluttering in the distance. The clubhouse has just had a much needed facelift which now provides fantastic views of the course and surrounding area.Good food and a nice welcome.Word of warning however, look out for the path and road that weave their respective ways through the course in parts. Blissfully unaware beachgoers tend to ignore the golf and simply walk right in front you prefering to battle with their inflatables than ogle at your crisp 3 iron. Can cause frustration but this is only a minor problem and should not detract from a great day's golf. Croeso i cymru.
