What the club says: Originally constructed in 1970, 6023 yards in length, Abbey Hill is a very pleasant parkland course, laid out in loops of eight and ten holes. Enhancements by Howard Swann were completed in 1996 which significantly improved the course by providing eleven new tees, six new greens and brought into play a number of water hazards. The terrain is undulating with mature trees and some spectacular backdrops. A particular feature is the Par 3 17th, which requires a carry over water.

Today Abbey Hill is a mature, challenging test of golf, which appeals to both the novice player and to the competitive low handicap player. The greens are fast and true whilst the fairways are lush and manicured. Abbey Hill’s Main Course has truly earned its reputation as being the best course in Milton Keynes.

Pricey day out

Love the layout of this course, staff are very helpful throughout the club, greens are all in good nick however still don't think that it is value for money given the other course in the area and the prices they charge.

Abbey Hill Golf Centre. A great family place

My son is just getting into golf, so travelled up to Milton Keynes and got him on his local course. Abbey Hill is an excellent course, with some challenging holes, but also offers others that gives you a chance on to make a good score. The course is split across two sides of a busy road, 10 holes one side, holes 1-10 across a bridge from the clubhouse and 8, 11-18 on the clubhouse side. An enjoyable course with good fairways and greens. There's a small kids adventure putting golf centre onsite. Facilities are good, with a driving range, good size putting area and a chipping area near the putting green. The proshop has all that you'd expect. The clubhouse is comfortable, and has a good selection of food and drink. All round, Abbey Hill is a good venue for golf and socializing.

Meeting Place

We had a meeting at the Golf Club, Room was great, spacious and cool with an outside section too. Food was a great selection and service from staff was top notch. I would use the Golf Club again.

Great course

Society Day- Course was in great condition, recent wet weather did affect the greens which were challenging. Pro?s and Staff were accommodating and looked after us. 4 ball in front delayed us due to not ringing the bells on unsighted fairways.

The curse is very nice and it's pretty easy. It's really busy and a very slow round of golf here. Also, the range prices have gone up to £10 for 100 balls. the balls are low quality srixon that have splits and bits missing out of them, total rip. Other ranges in the area that are a lot cheaper.

Abbeyhill

Abbeyhill is an easy course no holes too hard. Nice par 3s I always enjoy. Two clubhouses and a kids pirate golf course.

Slow slow busy slow

Over the last few months this course has got busier and slower. I played as a 3 ball and it took FIVE AND A HALF HOURS to get around. There’s also confusion with bookings where a ladies group has a block booking but wasn’t in the system so although we had booked the correct tee time we were bumped. It is becoming frustrating to play here.
