What the club says: The fairways of the 6,963 yard Duke's course are lined with pine, silver birch and chestnut trees. The famous third hole is framed by rhododendron bushes and has recently been voted in the World's Top 500 Holes by Golf Magazine. Heather, bracken and gorse add to the charm of the course as well as the natural hazards of each hole.
Love the breakfasts in the bloomsbury too.

If you ever get the chance to play this course, take it because it is excellent. I played today with my son & a friend, and we all said it was an excellent, but very challenging course. Despite it being winter rules, the Tee boxes, fairways & greens were all in superb condition. The greens were quite quick, and spongy, so high chips stuck on greens. Bunkers were all raked and looked lovely. Some of the holes had breath-taking views. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you can get a good deal. as we did.

A real treat!!!!
Every hole is different and no two holes looked the same. The greens were superb and ran very true. Some interesting par 3's and challenging par 5's. The 7th hole was like something you would find in America. Could not fault the course or the facilities.
We played the Marquess and it had been very wet. The course was in fantastic shape and the greens were perfect. The views were amazing and cant wait to play there again.
Played this course for a work event and was very impressed, course in great shape and simply stunning to play!
