What the club says: The fairways of the 6,963 yard Duke's course are lined with pine, silver birch and chestnut trees. The famous third hole is framed by rhododendron bushes and has recently been voted in the World's Top 500 Holes by Golf Magazine. Heather, bracken and gorse add to the charm of the course as well as the natural hazards of each hole.Read our full review

My Favourite VenueGreat facilities and lovely courses.
NHB DayPlayed in a customer event where there were 52 teams of 4 over 2 courses and the play was very slow....won a NTP with that being my only high point...struggled with the trees on this course.

Great course, even in the wetPlayed in the pouring rain and enjoyed it, which is unlike me. Would like to play in the dry as ball didn't run far but at least I coped with the greens, which still played well. Was only disappointed with the amount of people who clearly don't replace their divots. My ball got stuck in a few of them instead of running on a few yards. As with most courses a few signs towards the next tee would also help.

WOWNow this a a venue you must visit at least a few times, if you didn't know thy have 3 exceptional courses and I would be happy to play them all for the rest of my playing days, it's that good. It's also an iconic venue with the likes of seve having won there.
One deal to be had would be there winter deal from Nov - Feb, all day golf lunch and breakfast for an affordable rate.
Brilliant days golfingHave played all 3 courses there and it's a great day out. All 3 courses are wonderful in their own way: Duke's the toughest; Marquess the most fun; Duchess the prettiest & most strategic. Staff, clubhouse and food are excellent. You'll struggle to find a better days golfing in the UK.
Love the breakfasts in the bloomsbury too.

Probably Best Course I Have PlayedIf you ever get the chance to play this course, take it because it is excellent. I played today with my son & a friend, and we all said it was an excellent, but very challenging course. Despite it being winter rules, the Tee boxes, fairways & greens were all in superb condition. The greens were quite quick, and spongy, so high chips stuck on greens. Bunkers were all raked and looked lovely. Some of the holes had breath-taking views. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you can get a good deal. as we did.

WOWA real treat!!!!
Every hole is different and no two holes looked the same. The greens were superb and ran very true. Some interesting par 3's and challenging par 5's. The 7th hole was like something you would find in America. Could not fault the course or the facilities.
Marquess Beautiful course
Cracking CourseWe played the Marquess and it had been very wet. The course was in fantastic shape and the greens were perfect. The views were amazing and cant wait to play there again.
Very very wet two days due to rain but still good
Absolutely StunningPlayed this course for a work event and was very impressed, course in great shape and simply stunning to play!
