I felt the greens were slow the bunkers did not much sand in (hit mud) and no stand out hole to remember.
The club house was very nice and the food was great.

Bring on the sun and alls good

COLD EARLY MORNING ROUND ON A GREAT LAYOUT......................

Great course always a pleasure to play
Always a pleasure to play the Marquise. The fairways and approaches were in great nick. The facilities are top notch and I was back there again having new clubs fitted.

Excellent
Amazing day spent with awesome weather playing the marquess. played duchess in the past, but marquess is my favourite.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 18.4)

Great course but not worth the money
We normally go to spain, but keep getting wet so we thought we would splash the cash on a round at the Marques as one of our four rounds. We thought the course was great, well kept but the greens were very difficult for first timers. Our expectations were high paying ?169 each for the round and overall we were disappointed. Sounds picky but there was not enough signage and the holes could have had boards up with a little bit more info about the hole rather than a small plaque on the ground on each tee. The bins were cheap plastic ones. There was no towels on the ball cleaners. No seeded earth for the divots or receptacles for all the broken tees. No food buggie etc. There was no one in front for at least two holes but when we arrived at the 10th there were two groups waiting to tee off. We think they were a corporate group meeting up at the halfway house. How is that allowed as we had to wait then for about 20 mins. Normally we wouldn't care but these little things but they should have been better on a course of this stature. Many courses we have played far out weigh woburn and your paying much less.

What a Course
Great course, very tight and didnt play great. more aware of the right play for the next visit(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 11.3)

Marquess and Dukes
Brilliant condition for the time of year, greens as close to perfect as you can get, BUT... no pin positions given at the start of the rounds, and no coloured flags to indicate. Not what you expect when you spend a fair few quid on a green fee.

NHB Day
Played in a customer event where there were 52 teams of 4 over 2 courses and the play was very slow....won a NTP with that being my only high point...struggled with the trees on this course.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 10.6)

(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 19.9)

(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 84 Handicap: 8.8)

Great course, even in the wet
Played in the pouring rain and enjoyed it, which is unlike me. Would like to play in the dry as ball didn't run far but at least I coped with the greens, which still played well. Was only disappointed with the amount of people who clearly don't replace their divots. My ball got stuck in a few of them instead of running on a few yards. As with most courses a few signs towards the next tee would also help.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 131 Handicap: 28)

(Round played: Mar 2017 - Score: 104 Handicap: 20.9)
