played with my young cousin as he is a member there. Superb facilities and food. Course is basic but still gives a fair challenge.

Played yesterday and had great day. Greens best I have played on all year (seen previous post and worried but reception informed that they were cored early so that members can enjoy great greens all winter) and boy they were good. Course relatively dry, few wet area but that's to be expected.

They have also changed the course order so you now finish with a par 4 par 3 par 4 which is a lot better! Thinking about joining in April.

Played on Sunday there, and was apprehensive after last few reviews, but must say course was actually in decent condition. Green pretty good, fairways all striped up, bit wet in places but all things consider good value for money. Only paid £10 as they are still doing winter rates. Had a meal in cafe after and food was AMAZING - kids words not mine. Will def be back in next few weeks.

If you want to get mud up to your knees this is the course for you played here on sat 29 march 14 fist day of the golf season the course looks good walking down to the first tee then you need to play off a tee box at the tees are roped off by the time I got to the fist green my feet to knees where soaking and full of mud hit my tee shot up the slope at the 3rd plugged on the fairway I needed waders to get through this then nearly lost a shoe at the 8th worse course I've played at this time of year I've played a few deaconsbank playsport all a lot better condition than this so Mearns castle please don't blame the weather. ....

Nice 9 hole course, friendly staff and a good driving range.

The course has excellent greens but is let down a little by the fairway drainage as the course seems to flood easily but as long as it has been dry the previous 2 days then it should be ok.

The main building is under refurb at the moment so no pro shop or catering facilites (there is a vending machine)

Also worth mentioning that there is also a fitness studio there too.

Short 9 hole golf course but very hilly and open to the wind as I have just found out. The range and the amenities are second to none with its bar, restaurant, academy and driving range. The range itself has automated booths and they do a good discount if you pay for in advance

There is also a good pro shop their that cater for evrything you should need.

All in all a young course with some bedding in still to be done

Short 9 hole course, ideal for complete beginners to mid to high handicaps although longer hitters may find this short course easy. Fairways are short and well kept, with frequently cut semi rough, if you lose your ball in the heavy rough you can forget it…new ball please. Greens are ok but could be better.

Facilities are excellent with, large golf shop, great modern well marked automated golf range, chipping and putting practice areas, on site Professionals (whom are very approachable) and a good range of lesson packages which fit most budgets, not to mention great food from either the bar/cafe or the famous Glasgow’s Mr Sings Restaurant available after a round.

One thing that does let this little course down is the lack of changing and showering facilities, I hate going home sodden wet and smelly.

Pros:
At £10 a round (9 Holes) and memberships around £365 is Excellent value for money.
Well marked Range and practice areas.

Cons: No changing/showering facilities.
