What the club says: The course is surrounded by dramatic, rolling, heather-covered moorland and has been landscaped to combine the relaxing pastoral feel of mature woodland with the drama of its natural surroundings.

Been a few years sionce we played here and nice to see the course still in very good condition and a nice afternoon out - hope to play more regularly in future

Brilliant course
Arrived early as a visitor , welcomed in pro shop with a quick tour of amenities and was made to feel very welcome, course was in immaculate condition , and a very relaxed pace nobody rushing behind us .Reviewer Rating

Really enjoyed playingthis course for the first time. Many various types of holes and lots of different shots required to score well. Had a good roll and coffee before starting but only small thing was we finished at 7pm on the Sunday evening and everything was locked up so unable to go for a drink after game. May well be that the club shuts early. In saying that I would definitely like to play again.

having played most courses in and around glasgow , i have to say this course stands out as being one of the best .right from the first tee to the last was a joy to play , with tree lined fairways and elevated greens all well maintained and the greens a match for any championship course ,not to hilly as one would have thought and anyone getting a par at the eighth or the fourteenth would be bragging in the club house bar .friendly members and staff and a nice choice of menu ,if you ever get the chance to play take it .

Designed by Alastair Mackenzie, course is in great condition and although not the longest presents a challenge with elevated slopey greens. A great challenge when the winds blow and they often do! Views over Clyde valley and campsies beyond and brilliant. A great place to play.

Excellant course with outstanding views - played as a guest during the summer and certainly the best course that i have played on in the area. I will be returing again and again when local. Very friendly members also. Beware of the fast greens!

Loved the course. Played here on invite. Challenging for high handicapper, and fairly physically demanding. Course well kept and laid out. Some of the views from the tees were breathtaking. Greens were very fast and deceptive breaks made putting a real challenge. Members here extremely friendly and helpfull. If you get a chance to play it, accept the invitation.
