A place in my heart

This course will always hold a special place in my heart, I have played some of the best courses in the UK and Europe but this little gem of a course is superb.
It's about £10 to play 18 holes, you have to pay your green fees at the neighbouring owners farm, it has an incredibly homely feel to it too.
With such a small space and harsh terrains they have made this into an awesome 9 hole course that I return to yearly with my old man as part of a nostalgic trip and also, probably the most tiring game of golf of my life.
The extremely steep downhill 5/14th is my personal favourite, you'll want around 10 attempts as it's so much fun.
If you're in the Lakes, then visit this club, even if you only go round once!
