What a course. I have lived in this area for 2 years and I would never have known about this club until a friend mentioned it to me. Played in a four ball on the Codrington course and everybody enjoyed the course. What a hidden gem. If you didn't know about this course you would never find it. It is not signposted but is used for some Euro Pro competitions which are shown on Sky.

For a mid November round the course is in excellent condition, especially the greens. I would say that they are probably the best greens I've played on in the last 2 years. Some difficult par 4's but also some easy ones so there is a mixture for both low, mid and high handicappers.

Would i go back.....most definitely and cant wait. Great value for money at 33, coffee, range balls (in the summer you get to play the 9 hole par 3 course) and lunch. Everybody was so helpful and friendly.

The Stranahan is a nice little course that I have played a few times now, bit crowded in but great value on the fourball tee time deal. We are all 18 handicappers but we had great fun and 7 birdies between us, greens were firm and very tricky, tees good just a few mats, bit wet on the fairways but other courses were closed, we play all the courses in the area and for the money this is really good value.

Great course for 28 quid, greens were in great nick considering they had just been treated. The only issue with the course is the amount of divots on the fairways, some looked like somebody had been at it with a shovel and then not replaced it, but cant wait to get back and have another go

You need to travel to Burnham if you are going South, Porthcawl to the West or the Surrey courses to the East to get better than this. The Players Club is a tough course but fair, the greens have always been good and we play it annually in our society and for £40 its cracking value. The Par 3 course is great fun and adds to our fun.

First time playing this course greens are in top condition as with the rest of the course. Started well enough but then dropped away ending with a poor frony nine, played the back well and managed to recover the round.

A wonderful course.was a bit boggy in places but we did have a down poor for a few days before.some hard to reach greens ( infact opens on a island green)and some narrow fairways.15 pound a round (in winter) for a course like this is a one off.must visit

Still very young, but if you like long courses, this has lots to offer. It has 7 tee boxes I think, so can suit all handicaps. Well laid out golf course.

An excellent course, although not ideal for the beginner like myself. Try the par 3 9 hole course without losing any balls, very difficult but good fun
