FootJoy launches 2015 Spring/Summer Performance Apparel Collection
FootJoy has become a hugely popular brand since entering the UK apparel market three years ago, and is primed for further growth in 2015 with the launch of its most comprehensive and eye-catching Performance Apparel Collection to date.
The new range, featuring a wide ranging portfolio of designs in modern colour tones, performance fabrics and with fashion detailing prominent throughout, has increased in size by 20% over previous years,.
FootJoy has experienced year-on-year growth since launching its first complete apparel collection to the consumer in 2012 and ranked as the #1 shirt brand on-course in terms value share for 2014. Given the early reception of the new line, with stylish and functional designs carefully tailored for UK golfers, FJ expects to assume an even greater market share in 2015.
Advanced fabrics, including designs in Cooling Pique, Oxford Knit, Stretch Pique and a cotton-feel Spun Polyester, contribute to a technologically-advanced polo shirt offering, while highlights in the Mid-Layer category include the ever-popular Chill-Outs, both Brushed Chill-Outs and Pique tops, as well as high-quality Lambswool and Jersey garments.
To reflect modern fashion trends, FJ’s Performance Trouser, constructed of a comfortable, stretchable polyester and spandex blended fabric, is now available in a trio of fits: Regular, Athletic and a brand new tapered-leg Slim Fit option. Performance Seersucker Shorts in a traditional check pattern and FJ’s ever-popular, solid colour Performance Shorts provide a welcome alternative for the summer season.
When it comes to fashionable colour palettes, FJ has certainly hit the mark for 2015 with four separate collections that will provide a plethora of coordinating outfits. The Atlantic Collection, featuring the bold and contrasting – yet classic – colours of Nautical Blue, Red, Navy and White, is well suited to those wishing to make a big impact on the fairways. More subtle styles can be found within the Nova Collection where Graphite and White, set off by hints of Silver and Chrome Yellow, dominate.
Within the Verdant Collection, golfers will discover various hues of Green and Orchid enhanced by White and Navy. Meanwhile, the cool shade of Reef Blue and an infusion of White bring to life the Voyager Collection, where Black and Khaki also feature to create what are likely to be some of 2015’s most popular FJ garments.

Keen spectators of the game will be able to catch a glimpse of the new products in action as FJ Ambassadors, including American stars Steve Stricker, Brooks Koepka and Peter Uihlein, as well as four-time European Tour winner Gregory Bourdy, compete at the highest level sporting the 2015 Performance Apparel Collection this year.
Spring/Summer 2015 also sees the introduction of an expanded Women’s Performance Golf Apparel range, which offers a combination of 14 sleeveless and sleeved polos, classic Merino Wool V-necks and the contemporary, functional Full-Zip Knitted Sweaters and Vests characterised by solid, pastel colour tones and innovative performance fabrics.
