ProQuip Launches its Most Playable Waterproofs Ever

ProQuip Golf has announced the launch of its most playable waterproofs ever with the new slim-fit stretch fabric TourFlex Elite 360 waterproofs.

The TourFlex Elite 360 jacket and playing top are launched to market with a new slim-fitting stretch fabric that guarantees the highest levels of playability, freedom of movement and the widest number of styling options in ProQuip’s history.

The Scottish company’s designers sought feedback from top European Tour professionals, including a former Ryder Cup Captain, and leading amateur golfers before re-launching its premium TourFlex waterproofs with more styling options and enhanced fabric technology.

The TourFlex Elite 360 waterproofs are available in full length zip waterproof jackets and half zip waterproof playing tops with detachable sleeves.

“The two most common complaints we hear from golfers about waterproofs, whatever brand they are, is that they find the noise off-putting during the swing and they prefer their arms to be free and unrestricted, especially in the summer when it’s raining.

The new styles in TourFlex Elite 360 overcome both problems, enabling golfers to quickly zip-off sleeves while our fabrics are the lightest and quietest in golf today,” said Brooks.

The TourFlex Elite 360 waterproofs feature an anti-crease polyester outer fabric treated with PU (polyurethane) laminate and woven with elastane to make the fabric stretch.

The fabric is designed to minimise interference during the golf swing by stretching in sync with the body’s movement.
The dense lightweight weave of the fabric is highly breathable and also draws moisture and air away from base or mid layer garments for enhanced comfort, effectively performing like a second skin.

Waterproof ‘pocket bags’ ensure no moisture leaks through to the skin from wet hands or equipment, while water repellent front and pocket snap-down zips offer total protection from the rain.

The suit is also rustle-free to ensure players experience zero noise distraction during the swing and comes with ProQuip’s standard three-year waterproof guarantee.

TourFlex Elite 360 jacket, waterproof playing tops and trousers are available in a range of colours and sizes, including Black/ Iron Grey, Iron Grey/ Black and Purple/ Black, S-XXXL.
