GolfBuddy LR3 - Laser Range Finder

By: Golf Shake | Thu 08 Aug 2013

GolfBuddy has launched its first ever laser rangefinder with the stunning new LR3, signaling its intent to become the global leader in complete golf distance measuring devices (DMDs).

Weighing just 200grams, this new golf laser retails for just £219 and is one of the most compact, light and powerful rangefinders in the market, packed with features to help golfers get the ultimate in on-course yardage accuracy.

The GolfBuddy LR3 is also equipped with three operational modes. 'Scan' providing a continuous 10-second display of all objects located; 'Flag' which homes in on the pin and factors out background noise from tress etc, to give precise readings; and 'Normal' which provides a single distance to any chosen target from flag to dogleg point or hazard edge.

Said John Ennis, GolfBuddy Global Head of Sales and Marketing: "The launch of our first laser is in direct response to extensive research carried out by GolfBuddy in Europe which tells us where the DMD market is heading and what types of golfers prefer which devices.

"Our award-winning handheld and wearable GPS devices are much more popular than lasers with higher-handicap category 3 and 4 players, although they are used by a significant number of better players too.

"But lasers are very popular with category 1 and 2 players and we wanted to make sure we had a product that appealed directly to these golfers, who aren't as wayward as higher handicappers and are therefore more often in a position to attack the pin."

GolfBuddy LR3 features include:

  • Accuracy: +/- 1m
