To coincide with the 2025 Ryder Cup, we've rolled out the latest update to the recently relaunched Golfshake App. The latest version introduces new course discovery tools, updated awards and badges, and a redesigned scoring experience - all designed on helping golfers Play More & Play Better.

Golfers can now explore a dedicated list of past and present Ryder Cup venues, connecting with some of the most iconic courses in the world. The enhanced Where I Play Golf digital record also lets users quickly view Ryder Cup venues and Top 100 courses, adding them to either their played list or bucket list for the future.

Whether golfers are chasing history or planning their next trip, their golfing journey is now captured in more detail than ever before.

Challenge Your Game With New Awards & Badges for 2025

The new App version brings a refreshed design and an expanded set of awards and badges to challenge every golfer. From simple milestones like tracking a round, posting a review, or making a birdie, to tougher challenges such as:

Golf Traveller - play in 3 or more countries
Early Birdie - birdie the first hole of a round
Birdie Streak - make 3 birdies in a single round
Scrambler - record a successful up and down
Pro Putter - 1-putt 4 or more holes in a round
Houdini - pull off a scramble, chip-in, and sand save in the same round

These new badges add a fun, competitive layer to the Golfshake experience, motivating golfers to improve, travel more, and track their best moments.

Smarter In-Round Scoring & Leaderboards

The update also delivers a refreshed design for in-round scoring, now standardised across the scorecard, leaderboard, and final upload screen. Hole-by-hole results are presented more clearly, alongside gross scores, to-par totals, and Stableford points - giving golfers a cleaner, more professional way to track and compare their game.
