New Golf Alliance Showcases Mallorca Courses

By: | Mon 06 Dec 2021

One of the favoured destinations for a golf break, Mallorca, is set to be further strengthened by the launch of a new golf alliance that features some of the leading clubs and resorts that are situated on the island.

Club de Golf Alcanada, Pula Golf Resort, Capdepera Golf and Club de Golf Son Servera have banded together to create ‘Golf East Mallorca’, a new partnership to highlight the many delights of playing golf in the north-east of the popular Balearic Island.

Due to the collaboration, all four courses are able to be booked together rapidly, thanks to the newly-opened booking system, allowing golfers to experience every ounce of what the partnership has to offer.

Club de Golf Son Servera, who pride themselves on their relaxed atmosphere, boasts a wide mix of nationalities as members and their junior section continues to thrive - having produced many national champions and winners on the international stage previously.

Servera’s course includes the challenging ‘Pine Trap’, a well-renowned combination of four holes that are cut into the original pine forest, where it utilises the extra narrow fairways and dramatic elevation changes to test even the most skilled of golfer.

Club de Golf Alcanada and Pula Golf Resort can offer sterner tests and the pair have been host to several high-profile professional and amateur events, with a prestigious list of victors who have visited the complexes.

Alcanada was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, and it offers picturesque views of the lighthouse from almost every direction on the course - in addition to housing a terraced restaurant which basks in the sea breeze of Alcudia Bay.

Pula is the only resort among the four participating clubs and golfers will be offered the all-round experience with a two-layered driving range, as well as its spacious hotel rooms and the Sera De Pula restaurant.

Capdepera Golf Club is a friendly hub that places an emphasis on being newcomer-friendly as the course’s mixture of easier holes down in the valley and more challenging holes up into the beautiful hills of the Mallorquin Llevant mountains result in a more relaxed afternoon.

Its signature hole, the 15th - offering panoramic views of Mallorca - has been consistently voted as the most beautiful hole on the island by Mallorca Magazine.

The Golf East Mallorca brand will be hosting an annual golf tournament called the International GEM Cup, which will feature the most talented international amateur players at one of the GEM venues and it will be valid for World Amateur Golf Ranking.

If you would like to experience golf on the beautiful island of Mallorca, then why not enlist professionals such as Golfbreaks to help you find the right package for your party?
